Who Can Apply for the DPTM?
Organisations with data protection practices that align with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) can apply for the Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM).
To be eligible, your organisation must:
- Be registered or recognised under Singapore law, or have a business presence in Singapore
- Not be a public agency (as defined under the PDPA)
Before applying, it’s recommended to check your readiness using the DPTM Certification Checklist.
If you’re already certified in ISO/IEC 27001 or ISO/IEC 27701, the process may be easier, as these standards follow global best practices.
Submitting an application means you agree to the Terms of Agreement under the DPTM scheme.
